SVGTCCU Hosts Inspiring Annual Youth Symposium

The St. Vincent Teachers’ Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. successfully hosted its Annual Youth Symposium on March 31st, bringing together young participants for a day of empowerment, self-discovery, and personal development.

The symposium featured four engaging and impactful sessions led by dynamic facilitators:

• Jomelia Douglas presented “Who Am I Really?” which focused on understanding identity and self-awareness.
• Aviar Charles led “Confidence Is a Skill, Not a Personality”, encouraging participants to develop genuine confidence through practice and growth.
• Rodney Small delivered “Speak Up, Stand Tall”, inspiring young persons to embrace and confidently use their voices.
• Nsala Findlay and Kevisha Greaves facilitated “Be You in a World of Filters”, a thought-provoking session exploring social media, comparison, and self-worth.

The event forms part of SVGTCCU’s ongoing commitment to youth development and creating meaningful opportunities for young people to build confidence, leadership skills, and positive self-esteem.
